We
have a state level office and also work with
like minded partners and member
organisations through networking.Currently,
we are a state level nodal organisation with
a consortium of organisations of Persons
With Disabilities (Orissa State Disability
Network-OSDN).Our role is to provide a forum
for sharing experiences and exchange of
information.We facilitate member
organisation to work together on common
issues affecting persons with disabilities
in the state.
We are also the Eastern India Disability Law
Unit that works to advanve interests and
protection of rights of persons with
disabilities. Swabhiman is represented in
the Executive Commitee of Indian Red Cross
Orissa Chapter,Ethical Review Commitee of
Government of Orissa,is Commitee Member of
OPEPA (Orissa Primary Education Programme) ,
Apex Commitee of Helpline
Orissa,Coordination Commitee of Regional
Spinal Injury Centre,Cuttack,Govt. of India
and DPI (Disabled People's International).
