Accessible Water ATMs: Ensuring Safe Drinking water in Slums 

 

With extensive access audits, Mihir Mohanty and Jyoti Prassanna Patnaik from Swabhiman played a crucial role in ensuring that Water ATMs by Piramal Sarvajal in 10 slums were accessible to PwDs. 

“We had to carry water in a trolley from nearby settlements for drinking purposes. Thanks to Piramal, Single Window facilitated by CFAR and Swabhiman for installing inclusive water ATM near our basti, now we are getting pure water for drinking,” said transgender leader Madhuri Maa.
