UNCRPD Article - 4.

What should the State do?

To make rules and laws to give disabled people their rights and changing any law that is not fair to them.
To protect and promote the human rights of disabled people.
Take efforts to eliminate discrimination against disabled people.
Make sure things are designed for everyone to use or that can be easily changed.
Develop and use new technology to help disabled people and provide it at low cost.
Give accessible information to disabled people about things that are helpful to them.
To promote the training of professionals and staff working with disabled persons.
Strive to ensure that disabled people have equal access to things like housing, education and health care.
To involve disabled people in making new laws and policies.
